Junior Section

Dear Junior Member

We are really looking forward to our role as Junior Captain and Junior Lady Captain and getting to meet all of you over the next twelve months. We are expecting a great year both on and off the golf course.

As junior members of Miltown, we are exceptionally lucky to have a hard working and dedicated Junior Committee who have organised a very full calendar for you to enjoy.

You will see that it has lots of golfing and social events planned and we encourage you to participate in as many of these events as possible throughout the year. There are 18 hole competitions for all ages as well as 9 hole competitions for the under 15's, and plenty of matchplay club and inter-club competitions. We have specific events for beginners and for over 18 junior members too continuing throughout the year. There should be something to fit all ages and different standards.

Our coaching programme will be run by our professional John Harnett with help from other members of the club. Miltown junior teams have been represented extremely well recently and we hope to build on our success next year.

As Junior Captains we are anticipating lots of fun, plenty of golf and another great year for the junior section in Miltown. Please do not hesitate to approach or contact either one of us with any queries or information that you need.
