Rules for Under 14 Winter League
- - HOME MATCHES FOR CLUBS LISTED ABOVE
- - Players must all be 13 or under on 31/12/11
- - Home team captain responsible for making call to organise
- - Team comprises four boys and two girls
- - Three matches - any combination
- - Participants must have a recognised GUI handicap.
- - The maximum handicap for boys is is 28, girls is 36.
- - Lowest handicap goes back to zero
- - Other players deduct the lowest handicap from theirs.
- - All players receive 3/4 of the revised figure
- - 2 points for a win, 1 point each for a halved match.
- - Total score counts - 3-0, 2-1 etc...
- - These scores will be entered in the table above and the two teams with the highest scores will play the final. If there is a tie - then the winner of the individual match between the tied teams will go through. If it is impossible to split teams on that basis - a coin toss will decide the finalists.
- - In order to encourage wider participation, Boys can only play in two of the individual group matches plus the semi final and final. This restriction does not apply to girls.
- - Semi final to be organised between the winner of one group and the runner up in the other group in late March/ early April
- - Final venue Bray - date to be organised in April 2011
